966 Homan, Ruth 4736 Title: “Rapunzel’s Tower” I made a bean mosaic by gluing beans on a 6"x6" white canvas. I used split peas for the ground and vines, corn kernels for the moon (with glow-in-the-dark glue on top), black beans for the sky and window, yellow beans for Rapunzel’s hair, white beans for the tower, and lima beans for the roof. I learned that a little glue goes a long way. Blue King Snoqualmie Valley Evergreens
969 Homan, Charlotte 4751 “My Panda” On a 6"x6" white canvas, I glued different shape and colored dried beans to make a panda face. I used kidney beans for the black part of the panda, and white lima beans for the rest of the face. A green bean was used for the eyes and a yellow for the background. I learned patience for this project because all the beans took a while to glue down. I also learned to draw my image before I started gluing. I recommend putting the glue down on the canvas, and then putting the bean down on it. Blue King Snoqualmie Valley Evergreens
