Welcome to Watonwan County's 4-H Fair Registration Site!

FairEntry is a online based system where members can register their county fair projects online. It replaces any paper copies and allows users to register to show projects/animals. It simply opens up the opportunity for users to have more control of their county fair registration online.

The registration opening date is June 1 and the closing date is June 15 for fair project entry including animals, demonstrations, general exhibits, engineering design team, and Cloverbuds. This means after the closing date, you will not be able to enter any exhibits. Late registrations will be accepted, however, there will be consequences. That project will not be able to place higher than a blue ribbon or earn a state fair trip. If you need to change any information or add late registrations, please contact our the Extension Office M-F 8:00 am - 4:30 pm at 507-375-1275.

To get started:

  1. You must be enrolled with 4-HOnline. If you have animals, they must be ID'd in 4-HOnline by the animal ID deadline dates.
  2. Sign in with your 4-HOnline email and password on the right. If you have forgotten your password, click the radio button to have a new password sent to the email you listed. If your email has changed or you've forgotten it, please contact the Extension Office and we will update 4-HOnline with the new email address or remind you of your email so you can retrieve your new password.
  3. Complete your fair entries for all livestock, general projects, demonstrations and Cloverbud projects for each member before submitting your invoice. If you submit your invoice, you will have to do another invoice for the next member.
  4. If you make a mistake, please contact Michaela or Sam. They can delete the project or class and you can re-enter the correct information on a new invoice.

T-shirts will be available for all 4-H members and screened volunteers participating in the county fair. Please remember to select your t-shirt size for all members and screened volunteers within your family.
