124 Elman, Amelia 592 Hand-Crocheted Mesh Shrug with Bell Sleeves This hand-crocheted shrug with bell sleeves was created using a pattern from the Ribblr crochet app. The shrug features a mesh design worked in double crochet stitches and was completed with a 5.5 mm crochet hook. The project took approximately two weeks to complete and demonstrates my growing crochet skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow a pattern, resulting in a stylish, wearable garment. 124 Elman, Amelia 593 I created this freehand-crocheted leggy frog pillow after finding a picture on Pinterest that inspired me. Instead of following a pattern, I designed the project myself and used single crochet stitches throughout the pillow. I made the frog's eyes using bobble stitches to give them a raised, three-dimensional look. Counting my stitches carefully was important to keep the pillow body, eyes, and legs even and symmetrical. I used two shades of pink 100 g (3.5 oz) yarn that I purchased from Amazon after earning the money by doing chores around the house. My finished frog pillow is a soft, cuddly friend that adds a fun asthetic to my room. Blue Jr. Recognition Palo Alto Junior Clippers
