130 Saxton , Brett 708 I took this picture of four show goats at my family's farm. The two all black goats are at the age of three months, the black and white doe is six months old, and the mostly white doe is over a year and under two years of age. Blue Palo Alto Palo Alto Shooting Sports
129 Miner, Henry 736 I like to call my first photo “The Reflections of the Heavens” and I took it atop Bear Butte, a lone mountain in eastern South Dakota, just northwest of the Black Hills. The photo was taken on my Samsung S25 Ultra without any augmentations made to the photo other than those applied automatically by the phone rather than myself. The image features Bear Butte Lake as a focal point of the image, reflecting the raging storm clouds above. Through the clouds, the sun shines triumphantly, signaling the end of the storm and calmer times in the valley below. Blue Palo Alto Plants and Things
129 Miner, Henry 737 I’ve referred to this image as “The Rose Shadow of a Quiet Day” and I took it at Lost Island Lake in Ruthven, Iowa in June of this year. For the image, I utilized my Samsung S25 Ultra, taking care to apply no further augmentations beyond what the phone itself applies. The image features prominent rose cirrus clouds floating delicately in a sunset sky. A trail meanders below, coming to a calm and quiet end towards the right of the image. Blue Palo Alto Plants and Things
129 Miner, Henry 738 I call this image “The Weathered Walk of the Willing” and I took it at the base of Bear Butte, the same location of my first image. As with my others, the photo was taken on my Samsung S25 Ultra with no further modifications beyond what the phone itself may apply automatically. The image features a winding stone trail traveling upwards to the mountain peak and disappearing amongst trees. To the left of the image, the ribbons of accomplished hikers mark the end of their grueling journey back from the summit above. Blue Palo Alto Plants and Things
